John Deere collaborates with HackerOne, a platform for the world's best hackers. Ethical hackers, also known as White-Hat hackers, search for security vulnerabilities in companies like John Deere. If the external IT experts find vulnerabilities and can prove them, they are rewarded monetarily. According to John Deere, 84 hackers have participated and provided over 2,500 tips. In 2022, John Deere paid out over $1.5 million for this purpose.
